If you are travelling interstate to Retail Tech Marketplace on Thursday 17 September at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney, we will reimburse up to $150 of your domestic economy airfare.

Who it is for

Open to retailers and retail brands with an active technology, ecommerce or digital project, or responsibility for those decisions. You need to be travelling to Sydney from an interstate location within Australia.

What you get

Up to $150 towards a domestic economy flight to Sydney, reimbursed after the event.
A day of pre-scheduled 25-minute 1-to-1 meetings with the technology and service providers you choose, from the 50 exhibiting across both events. Meetings are held only when both sides accept.
One registration covering both Retail Tech Marketplace and Ecommerce Marketplace, and both conference programmes.
Barista coffee, lunch, and the combined networking drinks at the close of the day.
Registration itself is complimentary for senior retail delegates.

What we ask in return

Book and attend at least three 25-minute meetings with exhibitors, between 9am and 4.30pm. You do not need to be at the event all day.
Book your own flight once we have confirmed your place, and keep the receipt.

How it works

Apply. Complete the form below.
We come back to you. connexU reviews every application and confirms in writing whether you have a place. Do not book your flight until you have that confirmation.
Book. Domestic economy, to Sydney. Keep the receipt or the booking confirmation.
Register and attend. Register as a delegate, book your meetings in the connexU Events app, and attend them on the day. The same registration link covers both events.
Claim. Send your receipt and a tax invoice to connexU within 28 days of the event. We pay by bank transfer within 30 days of a complete claim.

If places have gone by the time you apply, we will tell you. Registration for Retail Tech Marketplace stays complimentary for senior retail delegates either way.

Eligibility

Open to retailers and retail brands with an active technology, ecommerce or digital project, or responsibility for those decisions.
You must be travelling to Sydney from an interstate location within Australia.
You must book and attend a minimum of three 25-minute 1-to-1 meetings with exhibitors.
Your meetings must be booked between 9am and 4.30pm on the day. There is no requirement to attend for the full day.
Places are limited and applications are taken first-come.
Meeting these criteria does not guarantee a place.

The reimbursement

Maximum reimbursement is AU$150 per delegate, inclusive of GST.
One reimbursement per delegate. One registration covers both Retail Tech Marketplace and Ecommerce Marketplace, so the reimbursement is per person, not per event.
Covers domestic economy airfares to and from Sydney. AU$150 is the maximum payable either way.
Does not cover accommodation, ground transport, or any other travel expense.
Original receipts or booking confirmations are required, together with a tax invoice made out to connexU Pty Ltd.
Reimbursement is processed once attendance and the booked meetings are confirmed. A meeting cancelled by the exhibitor does not count against your minimum.
Paid by bank transfer within 30 days of a complete claim.

Also worth knowing

Reimbursement is available only to delegates who attend the event and complete their booked meetings.
A no-show, or a failure to attend booked meetings, forfeits the reimbursement. A meeting cancelled by the exhibitor does not count against your minimum.
